The Mex Tour
We’ve coordinated, planned, and ran the whole tour since 2021. We are honored to share the love and knowledge of rolling with kids and families across Mexico; exploring their culture, nature, and helping their community grow through sustainable long term relationship building. We enroll other volunteers and serve at no cost to anyone in the Mexico community. The local government helps with some ground transportation from beginning to end to the best of their capacity. The local roll fam are gracious hosts. But we are aiming to raise funds to help us cover equipment, materials, meals and other hydration costs that add up to a total of around $3000 dollars.
It’s fun teaching, learning, serving, connecting, and building community. However, it takes resources and funds to put everything together. We serve 6 cities with free clinics, workshops, and demos for the month of November.
Ramp and Camp
Get Rollin has coordinated with Schmitty’s Ramp and Camp for 6 seasons. Ramp and Camp, located in West Lafayette, Indiana, hosts various skating events throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Skaters and their families gather for a long weekend of camping, ramp skating, distance skating, skate games, and other festivities.
Operation Ohio - June 11 - 14, 2026
Operation Ohio is an annual 140-mile skate across rural Ohio to raise awareness and funds for mental health. The event began in 2020 in collaboration Dayton City Skaters. Get Rollin has been involved with Operation Ohio. Operation Ohio and Get Rollin have partnered with NAMI of SOUTHWEST OHIO (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
Operation Ohio is a 4 day event that is open and accessible to all experience levels. We also welcome any non-motorized wheels, and are often joined by cyclists, longboarders, strollers, etc. You can skate every single mile of the well paved route, or you can take a rest day and drive a support vehicle. You can sleep in, meet us at the river for a swim and then finish the last few miles. The Get Rollin team will help to make your experience just the right mix of challenge and chill. The tour has pre-arranged camping each night, and past participants have often noted that the adventures on the trail are wonderfully counterbalanced with the relaxing, healing, communal atmosphere at camp.
Metro Card Classic
The MetroCard Classic is a premier 4-day rollerblading event and street invite in New York City, featuring top pro skaters, industry brands, and a return to iconic spots like the Brooklyn Banks, with the 2025 event held in September. Founded by Billy O’Neill and Ray Mendez, it celebrates NYC street skating culture. NYC is home to many great skaters, including Metha and Selena! Get Rollin is always present with hydration stations, merch, and more!
